hit the road

Fall is one of the best times to get in the car and hit the open road. In winter time, it’s simply too cold and in the summer the roads are overcrowded, bogged down by construction and other vacationers - not to mention it can be too hot to sit in the car for hours. When fall rolls around there’s a crispness in the air and taking a roadtrip is a great way to see best fall colours. Heading somewhere in Ontario? Check in with Ontario Parks for an update on where colours are reaching their peak across the province, www.parkreports.com/fall. Some top routes in the province include the Kawartha Lakes, Prince Edward County, the North Shore around the northern coastline of Lake Superior, the Agawa Canyon from Sault Ste. Marie to Wawa and Niagara’s wine country
