Spring is here –good weather and good times to look forward to. It truly is amazing how the LGBT community has changed over the past few years. We are not just one segmented group any more. We are many different styles and needs and with different wants – and at last the mainstream society is also beginning to realize it too. Businesses have to decide which demographics they want as customers, is it mature couples, families or singles? The message has to be different in each case.

As part of OUTVisions mandate to give as much focus to the female population as to the males amongst us, in this issue we focus on different demographics in the lesbian community which is as diverse as the male community. Our cover story celebrates the uniqueness of those differences.

Another great story is “The Butler did it”. This was a wonderful experience that I had the pleasure of indulging in and would recommend it as a perfect weekend experience for sharing with the love of your life, a short honeymoon or if you just want to spoil yourself.

With World Pride fast approaching in Toronto, starting in our Summer issue we will be creating a column that will keep our readers up to date as the plans unfold along with regional pre- and post-travel deals.

Our website continues to grow in activity through social media marketing – thank you for returning often to, and continuing to follow us, on Twitter.

Have a happy, healthy spring and remember it won’t be long before the patios are open: a great place to relax and enjoy OUTVisions Magazine.
