It always amazes me how summer seems to go by so fast, this year especially with so much going on, such as the very successful World Pride in Toronto. I had the pleasure to spend three days in Niagara with Chris Olwage Mr. Gay World, from New Zealand, Christepher Wee Mr. Gay Canada from Vancouver and Dean Nelson – CEO/Executive producer – Winter Pride, Gay Whistler, Mr. Gay Canada. It was such a delight to meet and spend time with these amazing young guys, each having a cause they promote and support for equality around the world.

A special thanks to all of our Niagara Tourism partners who came OUT to welcome them with open arms and make them feel like the stars they are. A recap of our experiences can be found in this issue of OUTVisions.

We are fortunate to have Alisa Palmer as our cover feature; this very talented woman has a very busy schedule as director of the Theatre School of Canada who also just finished directing a production at the Stratford Festival.

Gavin Reynolds is back with a look at fashion from Men’s Fashion Week in Toronto and he is sharing some of the latest trends for the 2014/15 season.

The travel section takes you to Halifax, a fascinating Canadian city that has won awards for its approach to the development of creating a true LGBT destination; in addition we jump across the pond to Europe and visit Vienna, a city with a really gay history dating back to the sixteen hundreds.

OUTVisions’ third contest is still open so enter to win an amazing, unique Niagara experience for four starting with luxurious accommodations, helicopter flight over Niagara Falls and a premier wine tour. Enter by going to www.outvisions.com.

Hard to think our next issue will be winter again, our editorial team is already hard at work planning interesting and informative editorial.
